Located just east of 80 on the western border of Wildcat Canyon Regional Park, the node on Mira Vista Elementary school is one of the easternmost nodes in the Richmond subnetwork. Comparison of this node with others that fall along 80 provides insight into traffic and emissions patterns along this route. In addition, given its proximity to the Pinole Valley watershed (to the east), this node has the capability to record changes in air quality resulting from wildfires to the north and east of this region.
